Summer mornings at a ranch farm in Ujjain: cooling, calming, and soothing.

Another morning at the farm. You step out into the open fields, and summer meets you immediately — not in a harsh way, but in layers.

Warm light, fresh air, and that early stillness that hasn’t yet turned heavy.

You leave the house behind and everything opens up.

No walls, no corners pressing in. Just long fields, scattered trees, and space that makes you slow down without deciding to.

Raw mangoes hang from the branches above you. You notice them as you walk — green, dense, unmistakably summer. They don’t feel like decoration here. They feel like the season itself hangs low over the land.

In the distance, you can already sense the city building its heat. You know it will touch 42 degrees later in the day. But right now, the farm holds on to a cooler version of summer — the kind that only exists before the sun fully settles in.

From where you stand, you can see the highway. Traffic keeps moving without pause. One vehicle after another. People going somewhere fast.

A world in motion that feels far away, almost separate, even though it’s just beyond the trees.

You sit for a while and just watch it. No thoughts trying to hold on to anything. Just movement outside, stillness inside.

Then you walk again. You pass the riding area where the horses have just finished their morning session. They slow down now, breathing differently, settling into rest.

Someone brings them muskmelon and raw mangoes. They eat calmly under the shade, as if the heat of the day has nothing to do with them yet.

A little farther, you notice rabbits sitting close to cool clay matkas. They stay pressed near them, quiet and still, choosing the smallest patches of relief they can find as the day begins to warm.

And somewhere in between all of this, you stop for a moment with a glass of bael juice.

Cold, simple, grounding. It doesn’t try to be anything more than what it is — and that’s exactly why it fits this morning.

You realize something as you stand there. It’s not that the farm is far from the city.

It’s just that here, the world doesn’t rush you into becoming part of it.

Another morning. Same land. Same summer. But the way you notice it — that’s what keeps changing.
